Kibo Sushi prides itself on offering a wide variety of authentic dishes, from exquisitely prepared sashimi to delectable sushi rolls and nigiri. Each dish is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to freshness and quality. The maguro sashimi (tuna) and unagi sashimi (barbecued eel) are particularly noteworthy, showcasing the craftsmanship of Kibo’s skilled chefs. Priced reasonably at US$18.00 for four pieces, they promise a tantalizing experience that highlights the natural flavors of the ingredients.
- Sushi Rolls: The restaurant offers creative options like the Alaska roll featuring salmon and avocado at US$10.00, and the fascinating “I don’t know” roll, where you can request a specialty roll tailored just for you. Customer favorites like the Rainbow roll and 49er's further showcase the blend of tradition and innovation that defines Kibo Sushi.
- Nigiri Options: The menu also boasts various nigiri, including Tai nigiri for red snapper at US$15.00 and Amaebi nigiri for sweet shrimp at US$14.00. Each piece is meticulously prepared, ensuring a burst of flavor with every bite.
Customers rave about their experiences at Kibo Sushi. Colin Lennox, a regular visitor, lauded the freshness of the sushi and the generous flow of sake. Kellie Smith emphasized how the fish remains fresh, while Lara Mays shared her surprise about the portion sizes during her lunch visit. And it’s easy to see why; the atmosphere is friendly, and service is attentive, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and special celebrations.
As for my personal favorites, the spicy tuna tartar in the Rainbow roll captured my heart with its harmonious blend of textures and flavors. I was equally impressed by the creative cooking showcased with the "I don’t know" roll, a true reflection of the chefs' expertise and a delightful gamble for adventurous eaters.

Love this spot! The fish is always fresh... and the tempura always crispy (even when takeout).

SOLID sushi spot in downtown Danville. The fam has gotten plenty of take-outs from this sushi spot in the past, but this was my first time dining in. There was one chef and one waitress, but it never got crowded enough to feel like we weren’t being tended to. Favorite choice of the day was their “I don’t know*” roll. Basically, you list out any dietary or preference restrictions, and the chef will make you something! It was awesome. Will definitely return again. 5 stars!

Was looking for a lunch spot on a Saturday and stumbled across Kibo Sushi. We had a very positive experience. Food was very fresh, prepared well and tasted great. The portion sizes were also bigger than we anticipated. I definitely will go back.
